Licensed Insolvency Practitioner
Virgil's insolvency career began shortly after the introduction of the Enterprise Act in 2002. He became an Insolvency Manager by 2008 in a three-partner firm in West London, which was established in 1964. He later assisted the senior partner in setting up a boutique insolvency firm in 2008, developed his business and thereafter attained the JIEB qualification.
Over 17 years in insolvency Virgil's interests have covered a wide range of industries. During this time he has made a number of professional connections across various sectors (taxation, construction and property, litigation & dispute resolution, FCA-regulated firms); his contacts are always willing to provide independent assistance wherever appropriate and usually as part of a team effort to assist clients through troubled waters.
He provides pertinent advice together with practical solutions during stressful times companies or individuals may be facing. He always takes time to ensure the subject matter is understood in clear language. He is prepared to explore non-formal turnaround, strategies and advises individuals, bankrupts, directors, shareholders, banks, creditors, solicitors, accountants and charge holders. In any scenario, he believes there is always a way out and he aims to explore all options in open and frank discussions.
Virgil is authorised to act as Insolvency Practitioner in the UK by the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IP No. 19090), is a member of R3 and of the London Chamber of Commerce.
