In 2002 Virgil began his training as an insolvency junior in a three-partner, general practice firm in London, which was established in 1964. He became a senior insolvency manager in 2007 having relished the challenges that complex insolvency cases bring forth. In 2008 the insolvency arm incorporated as LA Business Recovery Ltd and by 2015 he acquired the practice from his predecessor. He is an experienced practitioner with over 16 years in the industry. He regularly advises on non-formal turnaround and revival strategies, as well taking on all formal appointments. He assists different types of organisations; as well as individuals, directors, shareholders and creditors with varying levels of assets and liabilities. He has a keen interest that covers a wide spectrum of industries.
He provides in honest and 'to the point' advice and delivers practical solutions for companies and individuals facing real world financial issues.
He is licensed by the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IP No. 19090) and is a member of R3 and the London Chamber of Commerce. Email:Show Email
In 2016 Emily graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Criminology and has decided to pursue a career in business recovery and turnaround. She became a permanent member of the team in February 2017, following a successful and eye-opening trial. Emily is an experienced insolvency administrator and she enjoys investigations and research side of the cases under her care. She currently assists Virgil with all of his personal and corporate appointments and is working towards taking her professional insolvency examinations. Email:Show Email
Callum joined the firm in the Summer of 2018 after an interesting initial interview. He was to join a City outfit in the finance sector but became keenly interested in what the insolvency sector could offer to him. He is cutting his teeth on various interesting aspects of day-to-day insolvency and is being trained on managing a case portfolio of his own.
